The Directorate of Academic Affairs (DAA) is responsible for the coordination of academic activities of the university. The units under the Directorate include; Admissions, student records, Teaching, Learning and Examinations. Other responsibilities include; curriculum review, preparation of the University calendar, monitoring and evaluation of teaching and learning in collaboration with the Quality Assurance Department and keeping management updated on best practices in teaching and learning, and areas that need improvement. In addition, the DAA provides Secretariat to Senate.
