KIU, HELSINKI AND LAHTI UNIVERSITIES COLLABORATES
Still in line with exploring the heights, Kampala International University (KIU), Uganda and her Constituent College in Dar Es Salaam, in April, 2017, signed a Letter of Association (LoA) with two institutions in Finland namely: University of Helsinki (HY) and Lahti University of Applied Sciences (LAMK).
The LoA is intended to enable these institutions collaborate in various educational and certification programmes in Basic Sciences, Applied Sciences, International law, Economics, Management, among others. Due to these programmes, specific Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will be signed between esteemed parties. As the initial activities between these universities were joint research, trainer of trainers, and short trainings.
This collaboration was signed and witnessed by two Vice Chancellors of KIU, Dr. Mpezamihigo Mouhammad of the Main Campus in Uganda and Prof. Florence Tushabe, from Dar Es Salaam Constituent College with the representatives from the other universities, as well as witnesses from SahaManthran Pvt Ltd. and Oy Medipoc Ab respectively.
