The Directorate of Postgraduate Studies and Research, Kampala International University in Tanzania (KIUT) together with University of Ortago, Dunedin, New Zealand, conducts a two-day Research Workshop on Analytics and Research Methodology, for Academic staff and postgraduate students of KIUT. The workshop is scheduled for Monday, 29th and Tuesday 30th, January, 2018, from 9:00 am – 5:30 pm daily, in room H3 of the Health Science Block.

The workshop, which is facilitated by Dr. Ben Daniel Motidyang, from the University of Ortago, New Zealand, is aimed at increasing and expanding the knowledge base and skills of staff and students in Research Methodologies, Analytical Data Models and Digital Technologies, being the main focus of the seminar. These topics being selected are based on the experiences and challenges the postgraduate students have been facing in their research proposal or dissertations.

Dr. Motidyang is the coordinator of Educational Technology and Research Methodologies at the University of Ortago, New Zealand. For over a decade, his research focused on studying the development of advanced learning technologies for supporting learning and teaching. Currently, he is exploring the role of emergent technologies in enhancing teaching, learning and research.

The Management of KIUT, through the Directorate of Postgraduate Studies and Research, therefore invites all Faculty members and postgraduate students to attend the workshop as scheduled.
